Cubic Boron Nitride ACB

Cubic Boron Nitride, the next hard material after the diamond, exhibits higher thermal stability and very low chemical reactivity with ferrous alloys and metals. Cubic Boron Nitride has been proved more advantageous over diamond and conventional abrasives (SiC and Al2O3) while processing hard ferrous materials. We have developed two cubic boron nitride grades: ACB-S and its nickel cladded version, ACB-S 60N respectively.

SPECIAL TREATMENTS

All products are available with a special surface treatment in order to enhance their suitability for use in electroplated tools. When ordering, add "E" after the product designation, (i.e. ACB-S-E).
